Sunstick
Mineral balm stick · Compostable tube · Oregon made
The outdoor balm. Built for sun-drenched days.
Beach, trail, garden, river. Sun and wind dry your skin out, and the Sunstick puts the moisture back. Organic coconut oil and shea butter melt in deep. Beeswax sets a smooth, breathable layer that stays put through a full day out. Non-nano zinc oxide gives it that classic mineral feel without the greasy slip.
And then there's the smell. Massoia bark oil, warm and sweet, somewhere between coconut and caramel. People borrow this stick and don't give it back. Carrot seed and raspberry seed oils round out the deck, rich botanicals that condition skin while you're out there.
And the tube is compostable paperboard. Push up from the bottom, swipe it on, compost the empty. No plastic at any step.
"Love this!!!"
I have very dry sensitive skin and this works beautifully. Keep in the fridge for a lovely cool treat.

Inside the stick
Nine ingredients. You can pronounce all of them.
The moisture base
Organic coconut oil and organic shea butter do the conditioning. Beeswax binds it into a stick that glides on smooth and stays where you put it instead of melting into your pocket.
The mineral and the oils
Non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral with a soft, matte finish. Plus carrot seed and raspberry seed oils to condition skin, and massoia bark oil, the warm, sweet scent you notice when you open the tube.
How to use
Push up on the bottom of the tube to raise the stick. Apply to clean, dry skin and rub in completely. Reapply after swimming, sweating, or toweling off, and as often as skin feels dry.
Full ingredient list +
Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Beeswax, Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Tapioca Starch, Vitamin E, Essential Oils of Carrot, Massoia, and Raspberry.
What's the SPF? +
None claimed. SPF is a regulated number that requires lab testing, and we haven't done it, so we don't make sun protection claims. Treat this as a skin-loving outdoor balm.
Does it go on white? +
Yes. This stick carries a high load of non-nano zinc oxide, and that mineral has a white cast. Rubbing it in softens the look, but it doesn't disappear. You'll see a light white finish where you've applied it. If you want invisible, this isn't that. We'd rather you know exactly what you're getting.
Is it good for sensitive skin? +
It's a short, simple ingredient list with no synthetic fragrance, and customers with dry, sensitive skin are some of its biggest fans. As with any new product, patch test first if your skin is reactive.
What do I do with the empty tube? +
Compost it. The paperboard tube breaks down in a home compost pile. No plastic to throw away.
