Dish Soap

Absolutely love this dish soap. It also cleans spots on clothes and great on spot cleaning my white sneakers. The added bonus is how sparkling your jewelry is when you’re done. The lavender scent is great.

I have used other soap bars that left dishes very oily. This one does not! It duds well and rinses off easily! Just started using!

We love our dish soap. It lasts a long time, suds up well, and has no plastic packaging. It's the best!! Wish we started using it sooner.

It took a while for me to get used to not having a sink full of suds but this dish soap gets even greasy pots and pans clean.

This is a great bar of soap!!! I cut it in half and keep it in a small stoneware bowl and use a bristle brush with a wooden handle. It lathers great with the brush and cuts grease too.

Finally, I have found a plastic free solution for doing dishes. This cuts grease and cleans my dishes. Goes nicely with the compostable sponge.

We cook nearly every day of the week and have the dishes to show for it, and much to my surprise this bar far exceeded my expectations. It doesn't make as many bubbles as Dawn but cleans just as well (which has got me thinking that all those bubbles are just "theater" - much like they make vacuums louder than necessary so consumers think it's doing a better job - but I digress) . I've quickly come to actually prefer the bar as it gives me the option of running water over it to fill up the sink or a pot, or just swipe the sponge across it for only a dish or two. It also seems to last longer than liquid soap when left to soak; when I come back I don't have to add more soap to finish washing the soaked pot. Handwashed glassware comes out crystal clear and sparkling. In the interest of a balanced review I'm trying to think of a negative - and I can't. Maybe it would be that you'll have to find a dish or bowl to keep it in.

I'm not a big review person, but I feel these need the love. I have been using this dish bars for maybe a year+? now... so definitely a long enough time to work through every season. I absolutely love them. Not just me, but also my husband, we randomly comment on it. These bars suds up well and do the job and last a long time. I bought a stone soap dish that is slightly concave so it sits and almost auctions into the dish well and helps keep it in place as I swipe the sponge over it. I hope they continue to make these because I am not sure I could find a better product to replace it.

Before SFS carried dish soap I ordered another brand and wasn’t impressed and was contemplating on going back to liquid. I have ordered so many things from SFS and have loved everything I have tried. When I went to reorder some of their fabulous stuff I saw they had the dish soap bar and decided to add it to my order. Wow, I am so glad I did! It doesn’t compare to the one I used before. One swipe and I can do several dishes. Just love their stuff. Thank you for looking out for the environment.

I was thrilled to find this dish soap bar. One swipe gives a nice lather, gets dishes really clean with any residue. The minimal packaging and nice note was an extra treat.

This product is great. Just a swipe across the bar with a sponge is enough to wash several dishes.

Although I’ve only gotten serious about my plastic-free journey within the last 6 months or so, I’ve had the opportunity to try a few different dish soap bars. This bar is the most effective and best value for the money. The scent is pleasant, it’s gentle on skin, and it gets the job done. If you run it under water to add to a tub to do dishes, it doesn’t make huge billowing piles of suds, but makes the water a milky color that is just as effective for soaking or hand washing as liquid detergent. I also rub a brush or dish cloth directly on it for more concentrated cleaning power, a good option for extra greasy dishes. It has lasted an impressively long time considering how much cooking, and consequently dish cleaning, I do. I’ve had it for several weeks of cooking, baking, and canning prep and cleanup and I’m barely halfway through the bar. I ordered three more because I was so happy with the product. And the packaging is truly plastic free, it comes in a brown paper mailed padded with compost-able materials. So happy to find a good way to kick the plastic dish bottle habit!

I love my dish bar! It makes perfect suds and does excellent on grease. Plus, this bar is going to last a long, long time so less plastic waste! It also has a nice, mild scent.

Im new to the zero waste idea. My mom and grandma made homemade soap, but never tried the dishsoap. I like it!

We LOVE this dish soap! My husband does our dishes and he is super picky about soap cuz he likes it to get really sudsy to convince himself that the dishes are getting extra clean. Well, this soap passed the test! Super sudsy and cleans very well. A while back we decided to try a bar of dish soap to cut down on waste and found one we liked on Amazon, but it was expensive and didn't last very long. We like this one much better! Much more affordable and we love supporting a zero waste small business.
