Our story

Before we had children or a business, we were teachers in Panama. On every beach we visited, no matter how remote, we found plastic. We changed our buying habits, then started making our own products when we couldn’t find the options we wanted.

When a cancer diagnosis brought us home to Oregon, we began looking more closely at ingredients, too. What went into our everyday products mattered as much as what they came in.

In 2018, we started Silver Falls Sustainability Co. Today, we’re still a small family business in Silverton, Oregon. We use every product we sell.
